Snowman Treats!

Here are the fun little treat bags the twins and I made up for their classmates for their Christmas parties. These are so easy and fun to make! The poem reads:

"It's cold outside so in this pack is a special mixed-up Snowman Snack!
Look very closely and you may spy little snowballs, chocolate hats and eyes.
There's a little nose and pretzel arms and a tasty scarf to give him some charm.
Have fun looking, then you know what to do...
gobble up this snack made especially for you!

In side were pretzels (arms), mini chocolate morsels (eyes, mouth, buttons), Junior mints (hats), Mike and Ikes (noese), marshmallows, Twizzlers Pull n' Peel (scarf)

Christmastime at School

The kids have been having a blast at school, and with so many events I can't keep up anymore! So here is a rundown of what has been going on in the past week or so. Bella has been complaining that she wants homework, so I talked to Ms. Patricia and she is going to start giving her some worksheets to take home. Can this last through high school? In my wildest dreams huh...haha! They do bring home a lot of papers that they do in class, but to try to continue to scan them all in this blog would me miles long!! I don't know how to choose which ones to keep, so at the end of the school year I will have them help me decide which ones to keep.

The twins did some Christmas shopping at school for each other, Nanny, Gramps and Papa. They were very excited about this!! They have done some really nice projects too in school, I'll have to take a picture of our family room wall! Quinn's teacher, Ms. Denissa, did a really adorable project with the kids. She did their hand print on an ornament and made it look like a family of snowmen. She even went a step further for us...she went over to Bella's class to have Bella do one too!! So we have 2 amazing ornaments hanging on our tree!!

This past week they each had a party in their classes too. In Bella's class they did a fun book exchange. Each child brought in a wrapped book with their name on it. They then played a game and got a book. Bella was all excited because Gabriel, they boy that likes her in class, got her book! Bella go a Dr Seus book. They then got to decorate cookies and eat them in class, yummy! In Quinn's class they decorated cookies one day, then the last day they got to play in the park outside, then they came in and have a little party with food. I got to come in and help out too.

Bella also got a gift from her 'boyfriend' Gabriel! She was confused at school but was very excited when we got home and she had a gift from him. She felt bad that she didn't get him anything and said, 'Mommy can we go get Gabriel something?' So we did pick a little something up for him and she will give it to him after Christmas break.
Bella and her gift!

Quinn got a huge coloring activity book from Ms. Kim and Ms. Denissa! Thank you he loves it!!

We love seeing them really enjoy school, and wanting to go. They have learned a lot and sometimes surprise us with what they know!!
